THE PRIDE PLASTIC SURGERY

What is Alar Reduction?

Reduces the width of the alar base and corrects nostril size
to achieve a slim and sophisticated impression.

Alar reduction is not just about reducing the size of the alar base, but finding the cause of the widening and tailoring it to facial balance by reducing the overall horizontal width and volume feeling.
It is important to consider not only the alar base but the entire nose, and check whether the reduced overall shape of the nose harmoniously balances with the face.

THE PRIDE Alar Reduction Methods

01

Incision Alar Reduction

For cases with thick skin and large nostrils causing a wide alar base, a portion of the alar base is excised to shape the nostrils and suture them.

02

Non-Incision Alar Reduction

Even if there isn't excessive fatty tissue or large nostrils, if the lower part of the nostrils is wide making the alar base look large, surgical threads are inserted on both sides of the alar base and pulled to gather and reduce the wide alar base.
