THE PRIDE CASE 01

What is a Low Nose?

Both the nasal bridge and tip are low, creating an overall flat impression.
We enhance it to be three-dimensional and make your facial features look much more defined.

Implants or autologous tissue are selected according to your personal skin characteristics. Because each material for rhinoplasty has its own unique features, advantages, and disadvantages, it is crucial to accurately identify and choose the right material for you.

THE PRIDE Types of Implants

Implants used in rhinoplasty are divided into autologous tissue and artificial implants.
Because each material has different characteristics, pros, and cons, it is recommended to choose based on your individual skin condition and preference.

THE PRIDE Low Nose Surgery Methods

  • 01
    Nasal Bridge

After analyzing your face shape and nose shape for a 1:1 custom design tailored to your preferences, an appropriate implant is selected to enhance the three-dimensionality of the bridge.

  • 02
    Nasal Tip

The nasal tip is corrected to be sharp by building a support structure using autologous tissue while adjusting its height and shape. Using autologous tissue minimizes foreign body sensation and provides a natural touch.

THE PRIDE CASE 02

What is a Bulbous Nose?

When the alar cartilages of the nasal tip are overly developed or spread apart,
making the nose look blunt and wide, we refine the shape to appear slim and sophisticated.

For bulbous nose surgery, it is important to clearly identify the causes—such as nasal tip cartilage, soft tissue, and alar width—and apply the appropriate surgical method.

THE PRIDE PLASTIC SURGERY

Rhinoplasty by Type Types of Bulbous Nose

  • 01
    Large Alar Cartilages

If the alar cartilages themselves are large, trimming them to a smaller size and tying both sides together gathers the alar base, providing a natural reduction effect.

  • 02
    Spread Alar Cartilages

If the alar cartilages are spread apart, making the nose look wide and blunt, tying and gathering the nasal cartilages while placing autologous tissue on the tip creates a slim and defined nose shape.

  • 03
    Thick Nasal Tip Skin Tissue

If there is a lot of fat and thick skin tissue, partial removal of subcutaneous fat and soft tissue through surgery, combined with tying the alar cartilages or grafting autologous tissue to the tip, improves the height and shape.

THE PRIDE CASE 03

What is a Hump Nose?

A protruding nasal bridge can give a harsh, masculine appearance.
We smooth out the nasal bridge to create a soft and gentle impression.

It is important to assess the degree and cause of nasal bone protrusion, shave down the bump, and then decide which materials to use to smoothly improve the nasal bridge.

THE PRIDE PLASTIC SURGERY

THE PRIDE Hump Nose Surgery Methods

01

Mild Protrusion of the Nasal Bridge

If you like the overall height and shape of your nose but only the bridge is slightly protruding due to external factors, the hump is removed by smoothly rasping or osteotomizing only the protruding area.

02

Severe Protrusion of the Nasal Bridge

Severe humps are frequently accompanied by a drooping nasal tip. While shaving down the protruding bridge and performing osteotomy to narrow the spread nasal bones, implants and autologous tissue are used to smooth the bridge, and autologous cartilage is used to correct the nasal tip shape.

Implants used in rhinoplasty are divided into autologous tissue and artificial implants.

THE PRIDE CASE 04

What is a Short / Upturned Nose?

We lengthen the short and upturned nasal tip to achieve a harmonious nose line that fits your overall facial proportions.

Short nose surgery is a high-difficulty procedure because it requires effectively utilizing skin stretchability and autologous cartilage. Since the original nose size is small and short, the septal cartilage is also small, making it crucial to maximize the harvested cartilage to sufficiently lengthen the nasal tip.

THE PRIDE PLASTIC SURGERY

THE PRIDE Short / Upturned Nose Surgery Methods

01

Upturned Nasal Tip

Septal extension surgery is performed to lengthen the nasal tip by grafting additional cartilage between the septal cartilage and alar cartilage.

02

Exposed Nostrils

When the alar cartilage of the nasal tip is positioned upward, the nasal tip also appears upturned. Alar cartilage repositioning—cutting the upper part of the alar cartilage and fixing it downward—lowers the nostrils and nasal tip, creating an effect where the nose lengthens downward.

03

Overall Short Nose

Cartilage surgery and cartilage grafting are performed simultaneously while inserting an implant into the bridge to lengthen the entire distance from the starting point of the nose to the tip.

Implants used in rhinoplasty are divided into autologous tissue and artificial implants.

THE PRIDE CASE 05

What is a Long / Arrow Nose?

We adjust the length of a long nose that can look stuffy or aged,
improving it into a natural and balanced impression.

In long (arrow) nose surgery, the septal cartilage is often overdeveloped, and muscles pulling the nasal tip downward act excessively, causing the tip to droop. It is important to appropriately reduce the developed septum and reposition the drooping alar cartilage upward to improve both length and the drooping nasal tip together.

THE PRIDE PLASTIC SURGERY

THE PRIDE Long / Arrow Nose Surgery Methods

01

Large and Drooping Alar Cartilage

Cut or tie the nasal tip cartilage or septal cartilage to lift the direction of the nasal tip upward, and resect the muscles pulling the nasal tip to prevent recurrence.

02

Overdeveloped Septal Cartilage

If the septal cartilage is excessively developed, the drooping portion of the septum is resected and reduced, and the direction of the nasal tip is shifted upward and sutured.

Implants used in rhinoplasty are divided into autologous tissue and artificial implants.
